Magnesite

Magnesite is magnesium carbonate, and usually is formed in veins or through the alteration of other minerals. In this case, though, it has formed as concretions and looks like little cauliflower heads. Magnesite is frequently dyed as it takes colour very well. Commonly, it's used as a cheap and effective turquoise substitute.
